Recovery and treatment of medium temperature waxes
2022/01/20

      The recovery and treatment of medium temperature waxes is a new problem facing domestic precision casting industry. In this paper, the equipment improvement method of reducing wax moisture content in dewaxing process and the method of transporting wax in pipeline are put forward. The effect of production and application is good. A new automatic and continuous wax treatment equipment has been developed to dehydrate and deslag 162 medium temperature wax used in the production line.

      The results show that compared with the original process of removing bucket and standing bucket, the water content of wax is less than 0.06% and ash content is less than 0.04%, and the wax quality is significantly improved. The operating cost of the new equipment is less than 10% of the original process. Most of the investment casting factories in China use low temperature wax - stearic acid mold. Its low quality, high cost, and seriously affect the improvement of casting quality, the production of castings in the international market competitiveness is small.

      However, many investment casting factories in China want to produce castings for export. To export castings, it is necessary to improve the quality of castings. Investment casting, ceramic mold casting, metal mold casting, pressure casting, lost mold casting. One of the more commonly used is the investment casting: choose the appropriate investment material to manufacture investment; Repeat coating and sand on the investment mold, harden the shell and dry;

      Then melt the internal mould to get the cavity; Roasted shell to obtain sufficient strength, burn off the residual investment material,; Metal materials needed for pouring; After the shell is removed, the sand is cleared so as to obtain high-precision finished products. Heat treatment and cold working according to product needs. An ester of macromolecule monools with long chain fatty acids.

      Chemically different from fat, paraffin wax and synthetic polyether wax. It is also called ester wax. Wax is a solid insoluble in water and becomes soft at slightly higher temperatures and hard at lower temperatures. Its biological function is as a protective layer of organisms to the outside environment, existing in the skin, fur, feathers, plant leaves, fruits and many insect exoskeletons.
