It is reported that the project team systematically collected and used geological basic data and scientific research data from the beginning of the founding of new China to the end of 2006 in the evaluation of mineral resource potential. To adapt to the development trend of the digital geological work, at the beginning of the work, the project department set up a comprehensive information integration project, make full use of modern information technology to geological map, and the properties, gravity, aeromagnetic, remote sensing, geochemical exploration, and degree of natural sand, and work to organize and maintain basic data, established the mineral resources potential evaluation data model and database; The company has independently developed GeoMAG, which is used for the database construction, quality inspection and check and acceptance of all professional projects, GeoTOK, which is used for the quality inspection and check and acceptance of spatial topology of maps of all national specialties, and GeoPEX, which is used for the compilation and database construction of maps of data achievements of provincial mineral resource potential evaluation. Among them, GeoMAG and GeoTOK have been promoted to 30 provincial mineral resource potential assessment project teams in China since 2009. GeoPEX will also conduct national training in the near future, and start the compilation and database construction of national data achievements maps.
The person in charge said that the development of the topic of comprehensive information integration has established the standardized data model series of mineral resource potential evaluation for the first time in China, and its design ideas, methods and data model itself will also represent the development direction of data model research and application in this field. The data model of mineral resource potential evaluation covers metallogenic geological background, metallogenic regularity, comprehensive information of physical (gravity, magnetic) mineralization and remote and natural heavy sand, metallogenic prediction and potential evaluation of coal, uranium and chemical minerals. And more than professional jargon, professional spectrum, the code system, the feature classification and property descriptions, maps are layered and parameter definition, mapping said, space and scale, metadata, and results summary and integrated technical requirements, such as the national mineral resources potential evaluation for the future work norm, the mineral resources survey and work deployment, mineral exploration, and so on work, All of them have very important strategic significance.
